BioWhen I am not wittering on LJ, I like to spend my time painting, knitting, fiddling with my camera, occasionally cooking, wasting hours on ravelry and generally creating things. Also much time spent eating nice food, drinking wine and cognac (not together), reading books (especially Russian novels, Victorian sci-fi, Scarlett Thomas, Kate Atkinson and the wonderful J.K. Rowling, George Orwell, G.K. Chesterton, various comics and anything about art Forgery), listening to music (ideally miserablist, foul mouthed laments, stomping, glam-rock inspired disco or anything gladioli-fuelled), watching sci-fi, good films and juvenile comedies (latest fad is anything Korean). I think I love: Lara Croft, University challenge, Giles from Buffy and mash made with double cream.
I dislike: rudeness, sport, wet noodles, people who kick pigeons.
